What information do I need to place an order?
  1. The in-hand date you will need the product
  2. The type of artwork you will be providing (see below for guidelines)
  3. The type of process you would like your products made in. This would include the exact PMS colors, the type of metal plating, the attachment, and the packaging.
Will I need to pay up front?

Most likely. You will be asked to submit, via fax or email, a credit report. On your first order, we generally require a 50% deposit. On future orders, terms will be set up based on your credit history.

How long will it take to get my order?

That will depend on which items you ordered, and in what quantity. Most of our orders are shipped out 18-21 days after art is approved. If a preproduction sample is required, additional time will be needed. Usually 10-14 additional days.

How much is shipping?

That will depend on the weight of the order, where it is being shipped, and the delivery method. Orders are shipped from Sacramento, California. We ship via UPS or FedEx. We can use your account number or bill you for your shipping.

How do I measure pins, medals, or coins?

We measure from side to side or top to bottom. The largest dimension is the size of the emblem.

How do I measure for patches?

The dimension from top to bottom (length) and side to side (width) are added and then divided by two.

What are your guidelines for art?

DIGITAL ARTWORK:
Please submit your artwork in the following file formats for PC:

  • Adobe Illustrator 9.0
  • Corel Draw 8.0 or over
  • TIF (filename.tif), EPS (filename.eps), BMP (filename.bmp) files
  • Compressed files on WinZip (filename.zip)

Artwork can be submitted on the following:

  • 3 1/2" floppy disk
  • Zip Disk
  • CD-ROM
  • Email

Remember to convert all fonts to outlines or curves or include the font files with the design file. Please include a hard copy so we can compare the artwork to your digital file. Call out the PMS numbers for color.

CAMERA READY ARTWORK:

Send black and white artwork without half-tones, line art only. We prefer a minimum of 300% of the actual size to see all possible details. Include the typeface name. Call out the PMS numbers for color.

The following is considered unusable artwork:

  • Photocopied or faxed artwork
  • Company letterhead or business cards
  • Photographs

Our art department will redraw for a fee of $45 per hour. Please allow time for this when placing your order.
